Tango Level 2
We’ve been running The Tango of Creativity weekends for long enough for long enough to know that these things tend to have a habit of evolving naturally. Our lovely Tango creatives tend to come back for more – and they’ve asked us to help them go deeper and do more – to challenge and stretch their creative muscles, if you can call them that! So this workshop is designed specifically for participants who have already taken a course already with us and folks who feel at home with art expression. Since we’re running this level 2 course in the days following the level 1 course, it also means that you can come along for both and have a whole week of exploring using paint and poetry.
ReWilding via painting, sketching & poetry
La Cittadella is the perfect spot, surrounded by the magical Sibillini Mountains, to dive deep into your creative soul and Rewild the self. We’ll be working outside, using the environment as our studio space. Walking. Absorbing. Paying Attention. Listening…. and painting, letting words flow, moving hand, brush, pigment, colour… Level 2 is quite an intense experience, and will challenge you on many levels, but, as Tangoists know already, worth the effort of allowing yourself to tune in and work. Steeped in fable, culture and ancient mythology, this area of Italy is the legendary home of La Sibilla, the seeer and Goddess of the old Nature religion which still thrives in these parts.
Time Spent Wisely
We spend our days amidst wondrous countryside and mountain peaks, and in the shadow of Mt Vetorre, connecting with nature and making art, retiring later to Cittadella to collect and share our work before our sumptuous Italian evening; home made pasta, freshly cooked vegetables and local wine. And later, to while the evening away hearing nothing but the wind in the trees and the distant howling of wolves. A unique opportunity to get away from the stress and pollution of modern life and instead to add to the world by creating beyond ourselves…
